Our last God is Ketramose, who cares about things being exiled. He watches as the Champions of Amonkhet win the Ghirapur Grand Prix and hopefully find what they are looking for.
Damn, so the zombie-hippo chariot wins the race against a bunch of souped out magic cars? Of all the things to complain about in the set, I'm not gonna complain about that, but it does seem surprising.
I like that the god does nothing to help you get stuff in exile. We don't see that kinda thing much anymore.

Spoiler alert: a lot of the magic cars get taken out by booby traps set up by pro-Consulate protesters, and Amonkhet was closer to the back of the track. It's unknown when the booby traps got disabled, but mummies and zombie hippos definitely help against any remaining booby traps.

Ok, now I have non-racing questions. The Walking Curse: I assume it's like Bloomburrow and not like Walking Dead, because Gideon's not out and about. And it's called a curse, which usually suggests it's viewed negatively. AND everyone lives inside a single city, which even if it's a large city must be a relatively small compared to planes of which we only see one planet. You have a chance to live a normalish life on Kaladesh, why not leave migrate the city? They could even continue on from there, if they do want desert there's Thunder Junction, while there are nicer planes too.

Most Amonkheti don't want to leave Amonkhet. It's their home and for the first time since Bolas corrupted it it is truly theirs. They take pride in rebuilding Naktamun and their finally independent culture.
As for danger due to the walking curse (and other things), the Amonkheti have been trained for danger their entire life. Not only have they been "brainwashed" as a culture not to fear death, but now that mummies are treated as equals (it's not that simple, but that's the idea at least) they even embrace death as a mere threshold to cross rather than a final resting place.
It kind of makes sense why the Amonkheti as a whole are hesitant to emigrate away from Amonkhet despite the state the plane was/is in. Nevertheless I expect there to be at least some of them who do want to go elsewhere. There might also be some Bolas loyalists who escaped to the desert and later the omenpaths.

I'll never understand why people judge the quality of a block by its power level and not the fun you have with playing it.
might be the most important quote of Mtg Sal history.

Start your Engines for a slow Demonic Tutor. Probably still worth it, though.
The lizard people that secretly run the government insisted.
