• Wizards of the Coast Set to Increase MTG Prices in 2026

    It’s no secret that as time goes on, prices go up.  Such is the case with Magic: The Gathering in its upcoming Multiverse sets. Announced first on Daily MTG by Mike Turian and Jubilee Finnegan, and as reported by Alex Atkin at MTG Rocks, Wizards of the Coast is increasing the price of two of their products in January 2026 when Lorwyn Eclipsed is released.

    With the Spider-Man pre-release weekend behind us, we’re just days away from the set being fully released.  One of the unique aspects of the Spider-Man Universes Beyond set is the addition of themed welcome decks that are being sent to local game stores.  Welcome decks are provided to stores at no cost, with the expectation that they’ll be given to new players to help them learn Magic.
